WHO NAMED YOU?

You know you’ve made it into the Dundee Burd’s hall of fame if a team ‘elder’ has given you a nickname but can you remember why and how you got it? I got mine back in the season of 1997/8 when I was sat in the living room of 2c Seafield Close on Wednesday, post football match and pre-carnage. Diane Cowie turned to me and said, “I name thee Lindsey B” because your name is Lindsey and your second name begins with a B. She was not wrong! There have been, dare I say it, a few more inspired baptisms since then. Did anyone ever tell Aileen that she was called Psycho? Did we call Juice Juice because it took us a whole two seasons to turn her into the pisshead we know and love today? And CC ? Was that a reflection on the owner’s ability to spell (she is Welsh)?
The first person to guess what nickname the picture on the right is referring to gets a can on Tenants lager in the post!

I still don't understand why I got called CC as there was nothing wrong with me, and I have never had any such problems with my under carridge!!!
I think Speedy and Mac have got a bit confussed with this Blog thing and have set up their own Blogs(?) so click on their names to check out what they are saying. x
There never was. I never had such a thing! - the cream or the infection! !!
It's better than being know as Cheescake girl(thanks Mac and Marco!) : (
According to Beef, I named Speedy.
I tried explaining the rules of ‘Alien Bunnies’ many different ways in several different languages (Scottish & English – I can’t quite remember what she was exuding that night) to that Mitchell girl!
“No Claire, you rub your left cheek, no no! Left, no left…THE OTHER ONE!!”
Yeah, I have vague recollections now….
…F**k it! – 2 p – plop – down in one Speedy!...
So Meera, no you have come to your senses, that just leaves Beef - and you named (and bullied her for weeks)her, didn't you? To be honest, I do not know why she came back!
