You're not singing anymore!

And that ain't even a reference to the Old Firm game on Saturday morning. Yes, I had to get up at 6am for a 7.30am kick-off. However, Kenny Miller made it all worthwhile.

Anyway, the title is a reference to the lack of activity. Yeah, I know, pot/kettle and all that but I have had a rather large upheaval of late but I am getting into my stride now.

Beth, sorry we failed to make contact before I left, it’s not from lack of trying though but my timing was definitely out.

Cathy, how’s things at ‘play the wistle.com’ I have tried to find your website and failed. Can you give me an update please? I may have some useful information for you. I can wait to hear

Wombat, what’s it like living closer to ParkHeed? Where did you go to watch the game? How’s the job working out for you? What’s the Weegie crowd like in lectures?

London crew (inc. Bishop Stortford crewino) – any random nights out? Did you guys form party of the holiday crew? I expect you all to name and shame, pictorially speaking. Well, a holiday story at the very least.

Aileen, what’s the latest on the job and perhaps more importantly, you geographical location going forward?

Di, any luck with the job hunting (shhhhh)? Hope you are not reading this with work.

Meera, I just miss your smile mate!

Guys, I will be blogging and emailing more regularly. It’s been a bit tricky to start with but I a having a great time and will update you all shortly.

I am thinking about you, as you can see. Just give us some news, eh!

Last Call For Flight BA0185...

Hi Girls, thought you might like this, not all the key people feature but it's probably funnier for the absentees.

It is my last day at work so I won't be blogging (yeah, coz that's all I do at work!) until next week, provided I find an internet cafe Stateside. In the words of May West, "Why don't you come up and see me shometime?" And in the words of that super-sized spotty 1990’s icon Mr. Blobby, “Blobby-Blobby-Blobby”.

Love yous

I was young, I needed the money!

I met up with Di, Meera and Aileen last night for the final time before I jet off, sniff sniff.

It was a lovely low key evening and it threw up (for want of a better phrase) a couple of interesting topics of conversation namely, weirdest food concoctions imbibed sober or drunk. Di offered coleslaw on toast! And secondly weirdest (or for the sake of the blog, coolest) jobs ever undertaken. I think Speedy might be up there, not because waitressing is a particularly strange job but because if she had told me back then that she was becoming an astronaut I'd have been less suprised. Either way, I think Meera will win the oddest job category hands down!!

Over to you Meera, and the rest of you for that matter. What weird shit have you eaten and what level have you stooped to for money?

By the way ladies, there might of been a few drunken opinions thrown around the table last night - remember, that's all there were. Sorry Aileen!
